Train No 5629/5630, one of the 81 pairs of slow trains operating in China, is the only passenger train serving on the Sichuan-Guizhou Railway Line in the country's southwestern region.

The pair of trains running between Chongqing and Zunyi city of Guizhou province stops at 20 stations on the 300-kilometer journey. Running for nearly 30 years, the trains, with the lowest ticket price of only 6 yuan ($0.83) are still providing conveniences for people living in the Wumeng Mountain area.

Though it is home to the world's most developed high-speed railway network, China still keeps the slow train services in the less-developed regions for people without access to other means of transport.
