Fantasy comedy about annoying brother set for release

What does a girl do if an elder brother constantly annoys her?

The protagonist in the upcoming fantasy comedy Go Brother! makes a wish for him to disappear. And it comes true.

The film adapted from the popular comic series of the same title will hit Chinese mainland theaters on Aug 17.

Teenager actress Zhang Zifeng, who gained fame with director Feng Xiaogang's 2010 film Aftershock, stars as the girl, while Peng Yuchang, known forte 2016 coming-of-age film Our Shinning Days, plays the brother.

Cheng Fenfen, the Taiwan director who helms the film, says that some of the scenes are inspired by her childhood.
