Taiwan's unemployment rate stands at 3.7% in June

TAIPEI - Taiwan's unemployment rate stood at 3.7 percent in June, the island's statistics agency said Monday.
The figure was 0.07 percentage points higher month on month and 0.04 percentage points lower year on year, according to the agency.
In terms of age, the unemployment rate of the 20-24 age group was the highest, followed by the 15-19 and 25-29 age groups.
There were around 439,000 unemployed Taiwanese people in June, 9,000 more than in May, and about 11.42 million employed people.
