US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Beijing on June 14 to have discussions with Chinese officials on bilateral, regional, and global issues that affect both countries, State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said on Thursday.

Pompeo will travel to Singapore on June 10-13, where he will participate in US President Donald Trump's summit with Democratic People's Republic of Korea's leader Kim Jong-un and bilateral events with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Nauert said in a statement.

Pompeo will then travel to Seoul on June 13–14 before travelling to Beijing.
