Car-haling APPs have long been popular, but the latest trend is for apps that allow users to book a seat on a shuttle bus. Beijing News comments:

According to reports, users of the apps for shuttle buses can even book personalized routes.

That overcomes a major downside of traditional buses. Traditionally, buses only run on set routes following fixed schedules, and those who use them are not guaranteed a seat. Now, with the new apps, travelers can ensure they get a seat and that it goes to where they want.

That is a good example of combining traditional sectors with Internet Plus thinking. With the new apps, buses can provide more flexible and convenient services based on the internet and the mobile net.

More important, the fare is only slightly higher than that of ordinary buses and much lower than that of taxis, and since they carry more people than private cars, they are a greener form of transport than cars. They can also help reduce congestion.

That's why we believe the new shuttle bus apps are welcome. They will help improve the lives of residents and raise the efficiency of public transportation. Especially, as many people have to travel a long way between their homes and offices, shuttle-calling apps might become the best choice for them, even better than subways and ordinary buses.

The service provides a precise service to meet the needs of workers living in the suburbs, and in the internet era, more quasi public products such as the shuttle bus services are bound to appear.
