Nonseum

Herrnbaumgarten, a village famous for its wine in North Austria, is a destination for thousands of tourists from around the world not for its quality wine but for the Nonseum. The small museum, whose name is a blending of "nonsense” and "museum”, is a unique attraction dedicated to showcasing the art of wacky inventions or intentionally useless things.

The Nonseum features the likes of a spoon and bowl with holes to encourage dieters, a roll-out zebra crossing, and a real-life Facebook with mirrors for pages. Although these bizarre inventions and pieces of art seem utterly useless, they leave a smile on the face of every visitor.
