"The photography style I like is to truly reflect those existing in gradually vanishing scenes of common people's life and work," Yu said. "What appeals me most, is the plain and kind humanity of these ordinary people. The greatness contained in the commonplace, and the abundance originating from simplicity, is the most precious thing in life."

Yu has been to many places in China, including Shaanxi, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, and the different traits of North China and South China have been vividly reflected in his photos, allowing us to see a diversified world.
