Another interview that touched Li much was the one with Victoria's family during her last journey in Syria's third-largest city, Holmes. On May 22, 2017, Holmes announced a complete liberation and afterwards people who had fled to the surrounding areas returned gradually. Victoria's family was one of them but they had to rebuild their home as it was destroyed by a bomb.

It would take much time and money to complete the rebuilding but Victoria felt excited to return to their ruined house. "When Victoria took me to her room and told me about her ideal room with great delight, at that moment, I was inspired by her positive attitude," Li said.
