President Xi Jinping made an instruction urging every effort in dealing with the deadly traffic accident in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

At least 32 Chinese nationals were killed and two severely injured in a bus crash in the DPRK's North Hwanghae province on Sunday night, said the Chinese Foreign Ministry, adding that four DPRK nationals also died in the accident.

The details are being verified and an embassy working group had rushed to the scene of the accident accompanied by officials from the DPRK Foreign Ministry, the Foreign Ministry website said in a Monday release.

The Foreign Ministry launched its emergency response procedure overnight to offer whatever help was needed, the release said.

The ministry has sent Chinese medical teams to the DPRK to assist with the treatment.
