'Santa's hometown' celebrates Chinese New Year

Among exotic destinations, Northern Europe has been attracting more and more Chinese tourists. This year Rovnaniemi of Finland, also known as the hometown of Santa Claus, has been transformed for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Spring couplets, Chinese knots, and fu characters on local households utter a Finnish welcome. Every time Santa meets a Chinese traveler in his office, he will say "Good luck in the Year of the Dog" in Chinese.
