I am a writer, and yes most of my books are sold online on Amazon, JD, eBay etc. The cost is cheaper and the books are available all over the world. However I still love the old bookstores’ look and feel. Something about it makes my heart go warm and fuzzy. I do have occasional book reading events at bookstores, so maybe authors can try this way too. Sell their books online but also have book readings at bookstores. This will keep bookstores alive and relevant, while the authors will have a global presence.
